My name is Jess and this is my very first blog post!
I suffer from ME/CFS and have since I was 9/10 years old. When I first got diagnosed not much was known about ME/CFS and around 8 years later, that really hasn’t changed that much. People are starting to recognize just how serious it can be and I am grateful for that, but still not very many people know what ME/CFS is.
I don’t know if it is just me, but I don’t tend to go into great detail about my illness with those that I know in the real word except for a very select few.
I figured that if I write about me and ME, people who don’t know much about it might find it interesting, those who know about it might find out some more info and those who have this disability will have someone to relate to and might find out some more info about it If they are newly diagnosed.
To make this blog a bit more interesting I am going to throw in some books and beauty related blogs as both really interest me.
P.S I don't want this blog to be all doom and gloom and about all of the bad things in my life. As you may be able to tell from the title of this blog, I believe the world is a lush place and that it is filled with beautiful things.
I hope all of you do as well.
