I
like online shopping, a lot. Its quick and easy and you don't have to change
out of your pj’s. But sometimes you just have to get out of the house, even if
you really don't feel up to it.
Your
tired and cranky, you don’t know what to wear because it’s hot and the reason
your going shopping in the first place is because none of your shorts fit. But
you get up. You shower so feel a little more human and you find some comfy
shoes so your feet don't start to hate you after walking around the first shop.
After
you walk into that first shop and you look around at whatever occupies it, you
start to feel better.
For
me the shop that instantly makes me feel better is paperchase!
I
went shopping with my mum. And it made me feel better. I found a pair of shorts
that fit! They aren't so short that you can see my bum and they aren't too
tight around my thighs that they constrict blood flow to the rest of my legs.
Throw
in a few tops and some birthday presents for people; it was a successful
shopping trip.
Even
though my knees started to hurt after the second shop and I was utterly
exhausted as we were shopping for around four hours, I really enjoyed myself.
If
you are feeling down or not 100% and you think you could manage a few hours (or
even just one) out of the house, I would recommend some retail therapy.
Treat
yourself to something nice.
You
deserve it.

P.S.
I have recently discovered a poet, and the second I read this it hit
home for me. I thought I would share it with you.
You
are fierce. You're a survivor.
You're
a fighter through and through.
Little
brave, breathe.
There
is a warrior within you.
